Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteer Donor Liaison
Company Description
The Animal Cause, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Christian animal welfare organization. Our mission is to save shelter animals and unite animal advocates to reform animal welfare, raise awareness and create social change. We offer volunteer services to help save more animals while examining and supporting efforts to solve the causes behind the shelter population. We partner with and support other organizations in these efforts. Our vision is to reform animal welfare by becoming a strong, united, and impactful presence.
We are 100% volunteer-based(no one at The Animal Cause, Inc. earns a salary).
To celebrate our ten year anniversary, we are adding a new program in 2024 to our existing portfolio of programs and service offerings! This new program in and of itself will add long term complexities and resource demands; therefore, we are recruiting an army of volunteers to help us with this endeavor!!
Requirements
We are looking for a six month commitment for this role as you'll be on a TEAM of Donor Liaisons. This allows for collaboration, workload sharing (so no set schedule and a sharing of ideas). This commitment helps to ensure the success of this endeavor and will help you see the results of your labor; the saving of animal lives. There is no other experience like it on earth!
Role Description
These are remote volunteer roles for Donor Liaisons. The Donor Liaisons will be responsible for communicating with potential and current donors, keeping records of donations, and creating and implementing fundraising campaigns. The Donor Liaisons will also be responsible for representing the organization and building relationships with community members and leaders.
Qualifications
Skills:
All of our volunteer opportunities offer anyone exposure to additional skill sets via mentorship, operational duties, projects and more!
Note: As this is a volunteer position, compensation will not be provided. You must be a United States citizen and at least 18 years of age to apply. At this time, we do not accept court-ordered service hours nor track community service hours. Volunteers must not have conflicting associations with similar non-profit organizations or other business related to animal welfare.
