This is a volunteer-based remote role for a dog foster. As a dog foster, you will take care of shelter dogs in your own home, providing them temporary care in your home. You'll be responsible for feeding, exercising, grooming and providing transportation to/from training sessions. This role will also require you to attend events and capture media to help promote the dogs.
Qualifications
Note: This volunteer role does not require any formal education or degree.
At this time, we do not accept court-ordered service hours nor track community service hours.
Volunteers must not have conflicting associations with similar non-profit organizations or other business related to animal welfare.
You must be a citizen of the United States and at least 21 years of age to apply.

- Passion for animal welfare and advocacy
- Experience in caring for dogs, whether through personal experience or previous fostering experience
- Ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for dogs in your home
- Willingness to work with dogs with behavioral and training needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with other volunteers
- Must have a reliable transportation
- Must be at least 21 years old
